The third-generation Skoda Fabia is here, and now it's lower and wider with sharper edges all around to make it look sportier. And since Skoda won't be building a vRS version, I guess it's up to us to turn it into something fast.

Skoda says the new Fabia has a bigger trunk and a more spacious interior with smartphone connectivity, will be available in 15 colors and its sporty lines and wider stance should appeal to even more buyers looking for a great compact all-rounder. It makes me wanna turn it into a rally car, that's for sure.

Based on the same platform as the Volkswagen Polo, the Fabia will get the same gas and diesel engines from VW, plus the DSG as an option just like the current generation.

While the vRS version is off the table, a wagon is coming for sure. I want both with an FIA-certified roll cage, a big turbo and all-wheel drive, thanks very much.

What do you think, America?
