Dreamer, builder, and juice-lover James Glickenhaus has done it. Here's the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione — his custom skunkworks racing project — completely liveried in a dark carbon fiber weave with sponsor stickers and driver names.

It's almost bittersweet for us, having watched the P4/5 Competizione go from a dream, to a render, to a mule, to a working car.

The journey's been so great we're a little sad we've almost arrived. The P4/5 hits the track this weekend for its second race, this time on the Nürburgring for the 6 Hours of the Ring race. All of this as it prepares itself for its ultimate goal: the Nüburgring 24 Hours on June 25th.

Our little race car is growing up.

its bad ass and all, but isnt it kind of... ugly? The shorter dimensions of the f430 chassis are what I blame.

Also, why no 458 chassis?
