Ten years ago, the Bentley Speed 8 gave the historic British marque its first win at Le Mans since 1930, finishing in both first and second places. Wonder what it's like to drive one?
The lucky people at Autocar did, and they somehow managed to take the stunning Prototype car for a spin at the Anglesey Circuit in Wales. These days, the car — which packs a 615-horsepower twin turbo 4.0-liter V8 — is kept as a museum piece, so driver Steve Sutcliffe was asked to go easy on it.
I'm sure this thing was a handful to drive. It may seem like a leisurely run to us, but Sutcliffe manages to squeeze some fun out of it. Best of all, it sounds amazing.
Anyone else care to take a spin?
