As any devotee of the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash knows, the traditional terminus of the race was at Redondo Beach's Portofino Inn, just up PCH from tha Jalop's West Coast HQ. And here we have a Mazda-based Trikeamino with Testarossa-style straked ducts, shot at a port. Tenuous, yes. But important connections to be sure, as Yates and Gurney once won the Cannonball in the Testarossa's ancestor, the Ferrari Daytona. Anybody hoony-loony enough to traverse the USA in this thing? [Thanks to Steve for the tip.]
