The fine folks over at Wired.com's Autopia took a tour of Tesla recently, including a close-up of the chassis of the Model S sedan. Now Tesla's posted three videos featuring the chief engineer touting the benefits of Tesla's ingenuity.
There's a few questions lingering after watching all three of these clips. Firstly, that battery pack will probably contend for the heavyweight title among electric vehicles; we'd have to put it on the scale with the Chevy Volt's pack to be sure but it looks beefy. Secondly, low centers of gravity do wonders for handling, but I assume during durability tests Tesla will shoot a few rocks at the bottom of that pack. And finally, what was the last automaker to put a third row of jump seats in a sedan?
