Ever since Mini showed off the stunning Superleggera Roadster concept last summer, the masses have been begging them to make it a reality. Since then we've gotten nothing but a solid "Maybe," but a new report says it's happening after all. Wooo!
The Mini Superleggera Vision Concept was easily one of the best designs to come from Mini in a while, an elegant and fun-looking sports car with two seats and an open roof. I hoped Mini wouldn't let that design go to waste, and now there's proof they might not.
The future does not look bright for the two-seat Mini Coupe, which looks like a Mini Cooper wearing a backwards baseball cap for some reason, or its hatless brother the Mini Roadster. Will anyone miss them? I'm thinking they won't.
There may be too many Minis. There, I've said it. This is the sixth. But if we must have another, why not a tiny two-seater convertible?
