'Street Racing' At 130 Miles An Hour With No Seatbelts Or Roll Cage

Not only are these guys racing in the streets at speeds up to 130 miles an hour with no belts or rollcages, it's all legal.

You're watching the Isle of Man 1990 Formula E Superkart Grand Prix Final thanks to the wonder of onboard cameras. The speeds these drivers are doing with double-digit horsepower is unreal.

Here's more footage from the race, showing the cars bucking on the completely ordinary streets of Peel on the Isle of Man. "You would think the karts would fall to bits," says the announcer. "and they frequently do!"

For reference, yes these guys do crash. The person in this wreck supposedly returned to the race next year and won.

People from the Isle of Man must have the most intense death wishes.
