Volkswagen's production version of its 2004 Concept C was captured recently in shakedown testing somewhere in Europe, indicating the coupe convertible is mere months from launch. The version seen here has a slightly less angular body style, indicating it hasn't escapted the typical de-radicalization occuring between concept and showroom. But as rumor has it, VW may carry over the innovative glass sliding sunroof and folding metal roof system, making the yet unnamed cabrio a unique competitor to its rivals. The four-seater will be unveiled in Frankfurt this September, with pricing in the $30,000 range.
