Michael Manish, who ran a used car dealership owned by his father, has had the black spot slipped to him by British Columbian authorities due to multiple repeated violations. He'd been selling cars with unreported damage, holding cars on consignment despite his lack of a license to do so, hadn't provided customers with bills of sale, and a number of other various and sundry bugaboos in the eyes of the law. The upshot? Registrar of Motor Dealers Ken Smith has declared him persona non grata, stating, "I want to make it very clear that Mr. Manish is no longer allowed to sell motor vehicles in the province of British Columbia." Tough break, eh?
