Perspective Shift: Greener Cars From Treehugger

This image was lost some time after publication.

This week at TreeHugger: Just as the epidemic of mega-car fever showed signs of abating and the H1 was given a much-deserved civilian burial, the Rodedawg, the world's first tacky, blingy, amphibious disaster relief vehicle, is on its way. For those with slightly less intense inferiority complexes (in England, anyway), there is now the option of traveling in a CNG-powered rickshaw, a plug-in hybrid taxi, or a fully electric Smart Car. For the hopers and the dreamers among us, TreeHugger offers a look at some of the most tantalizing, fantasizable green concept cars to ever grace a rotating platform. Meanwhile, China is revving up the hydrogen race, and Zipcar has doubled its Bay area fleet of shared cars and expanded into Chicago.
