The Second Annual Jalopnik Film Festival is even bigger and better than last year, with a mixture of never-before-seen films from some of the most respected names in the car world and work from up-and-comers across two nights in New York City on November 5th and 6th.

This year's festival kick off with a party at the Classic Car Club Manhattan featuring sneak peeks at new productions and interviews with some of the biggest names in cars and motorsports on Wednesday, November 5th. A lot of big announcements coming for this, but for now let's just say that you want to be there.

On November 6th, the party continues in Williamsburg at Nitehawk Cinema with film premieres, cars, music, eats and drinks.. Films screened will include a world premiere preview of APEX: The Story Of The Hypercar from Tangent Vector, which you can see the trailer for above. We've been excited about this project since we first heard about it and we're incredibly honored to be the first to show the world this amazing work. We're also proud to be the first screening of Ayrton's Wish, the Senna short film from Urban Outlaw director Tamir Moscivici.

These films join the already announced jury selections — many of which will be screened in the theater for the first time, as well as Ignition, presented with Volvo Cars, our premiere sponsor.
