The other day we revealed the secret to shifting in the Fast and Furious movies. Fascinated, I decided to investigate this further, and found that while the Fast and Furious franchise obviously required something a bit more robust, there actually did appear to be a special version of manual transmissions used in movies.

My biggest annoyance is the use "shift into high gear"

Obama used it recently in conversation about the economy.
