Nissan is making like Charlie Hustle and racing to get its upscale Inifiniti brand in front of China's widening middle class, before its competitors carve the market into Feudal kingdoms and wall up the place like the Zhou dynasty. Nissan officials say the company will start selling Infinitis there in late 2007 — corresponding with its launch in Russia and Ukraine — earlier than its previous March 2008 target date. Ten dealerships are set to open in major cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, with ten more by 2009.
