BAIC has the rights to produce an updated version of the old Saab 9-5, like the one your college professor's wife drove. Now Nicolas Cage has signed on as the brand ambassador for these cars.

In specific, he'll be promoting the Senova D series, which will reach the market soon, reports Bloomberg.


The thinking is that Nic Cage is a good fit for the car's target market of 40-something males, but we suspect it may better target a younger set of buyers - buyers who know that killing me won't bring back your goddamn honey.
