We smell a series. Acura announced it would unveil a new sports-car design concept at the Detroit auto show, offering the above teaser sketch as an airbrushed amuses bouche. The proto model will be dubbed "Advanced Sports Car Concept," continuing a thread started at the LA auto show with the radically angular "Advanced Sedan Concept." According to accompanying press-release spiel, the sports-car concept "provides a glimpse" of the next-generation Acura exotic sports car, formerly known as NSX. CEO Takeo "Me Out to the Ballgame" Fukui will deliver keynote remarks at the Acura press conference on Sunday, January 7.
