Yes, our German has gotten incredibly rusty. And no, we shouldn't have used it in a headline, but thinking of Dieter Zetsche pounding his fist on a boardroom table while yelling the above phrase just makes us kinda giddy. DaimlerChrysler has ruled out taking a stake in rival German automaker Volkswagen, no doubt somewhat spurred on in the decision by investor reaction to Porsche's 20% purchase of VW last week. Honcho Zetsche says however, that the companies haven't ruled out future collaborations which may include jointly-developed powerplants, or even entire vehicle architectures.
