IndyCar driver Justin Wilson’s death yesterday at age 37 was tragic, unfortunate, and sad. But in what almost amounts to a testament to the kind of person he was, his organs were donated, and he has already saved the lives of six others.
The news was shared on Twitter today by Justin’s brother, Stefan (via Motorsport.com):
A trust fund for the care of Wilson’s two young daughters has been established, and donations can be addressed to the Wilson Children’s Fund, c/o INDYCAR, 4551 W. 16th St., Indianapolis, IN 46222.
