Truck YeahThe trucks are good!

Bryce Menzies has proved he's got moves winning trophy truck races on sand and snow. Now he's keen to take on the biggest off-road race of all, and it looks like Red Bull wants to make it happen.

All that's apparent now is that Bryce wants to do the race and that Red Bull is indeed talking to him. Whether or not he makes it in, or can get set up with a vehicle for this massive event, remains to be seen.

Think his skills would translate to long-distance endurance racing? Dakar ain't no 1,000 mile cruise down the beach.

Where do you get the idea that the Baja 1000 is a cruise down the beach? A lot of ignorance showing right there. The Baja Mil covers MUCH rougher terrain than in South America. I can't even imagine trying to actually race the Peugeot in the San Felipe area of Baja. Those things kick like a mule over tiny kickers. Holy cow it would be crazy to see what they would look like going through 3 foot whoops for 50 miles. How does such a big team get the shock tuning and bumpstops so wrong?
