Our pal Juan Barnett, aka the D.C. Auto Geek, dug up this gem about a possible new car sharing program called Audi Access on the United States Patent and Trademark Office's website. An Audi spokesman declined to comment to Jalopnik.
As Juan notes below, car sharing is booming in popularity right now for a lot of reasons. It makes sense if Audi wants to get in on the game as well, though there's no information yet about what cars they might offer up for sharing.
Whatever it is, I'm sure it will beat the hell out of the Smart Fortwo, but that's not hard to do.
