The testers of product at Consumer Reports released their 10 best cars of 2007. And like last year, and the year before, Japan's automakers walked away with all the marbles (those red ones, with the white dot in the middle). Not a single US, Korean or German brand showed up on the top ten this year. At least the US last appeared in 2004 with the Ford Focus — but was waylaid by poor crash test ratings — and the Germans haven't shown up at all since 2003. Is this a new trend or something? Let the methodology debate begin.
