In one corner, we have Top Gear's James May in a Komatsu tractor. In the other corner, we have Australian V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup in a Holden race car. And they're about to race. Seriously.

This race isn't straight up, like you might think. James has to cover 600 meters in the tractor, while Whincup has to do a full 2.8 kilometer lap of the track in order to be declared the winner.

What transpires is far closer than you might expect.

This was all filmed as part of Top Gear Live in Australia, and starts off with a race between a plane and the V8 Supercar that is largely incomprehensible.
