I always found it a bit confusing that May Day was on the same day as International Workers' Day, meaning that the images I had of women in diaphanous dresses cavorting around a flower-draped pole were always intermingled with images of huge Soviet trucks towing ICBMs through Red Square.

Now that I think about it, that confusion maybe had some lasting effects on some sex stuff I don't want to talk about.

Anyway, in honor of the more vehicular of the two holidays, please enjoy that video of Soviet ZIL trucks rampaging across the globe, set to Russian narration and classical music. In watching it, I found it feels uncannily like a nature video. Those colossal trucks seem like giant animals, climbing out of water, crashing through forests, hunting the wild diesel crabs or whatever they eat.
