Guess Which NFL Player Crashed A Mercedes SLS AMG After A Night Of Drinking?

At least some of the $37 million Eric Wright secured in his recent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will go to pay a DUI attorney.

Wright, signed on as a cornerback in March, was arrested in Los Angeles early Monday morning when he was involved in a crash that injured another driver.

Police said Wright was driving a Mercedes SLS AMG coupe and injured the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup, who refused medical treatment. Wright was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police, and held on $100,000 bail.

In 2005, when Wright was a USC starter, he was arrested for an alleged rape and transferred to UNLV. A search of his apartment at the time revealed 136 ecstasy pills. But the L.A. County prosecutor's office never filed charges, citing a lack of evidence.

This time, though, there was enough for Wright to end up in the LAPD's Metropolitan Detention Center. Tampa Bay's management has not yet commented on the incident.

Wright played for the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns before signing with the Bucs.
