See And Hear Three Of The Greatest Race Cars Ever Constructed

A 1964 Ferrari F1 car. A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. The Mercedes 300 SLR that won the legendary 1955 Mille Miglia. See and hear them in these short teasers from the Amelia Island Concours, as shot by the great Justin Lapriore of LetsMakeMedia.

Good looking, hard earned, FRESH PATINA. The 2015 'Amelia' (soon).

Jealousy seeps in this time every year. It is the week after the Amelia Island Concours and photog after photog are posting endless, beautiful sets of photos. Meanwhile, I'm busy downloading and encoding mammoth video files before I can even think about editing, let alone sharing. Ah, filmmaking.

And then I remember something, I have something those thousands of still photos don't have. NOISE. Lots of noise. Proper oil burning, throttling, brain rattling noise. And TIME, a little time.

Screw the jealousy, get back to work, LetsMakeSomething.

3 simple, short, noisy glimpses into this year's Amelia Island Concours.

After 20 years, and another fantastic event, the Amelia Island Concours is finally showing it's first signs of some good looking, hard earned, FRESH PATINA.

I recommend a slight volume adjustment. Up.

A 1964 championship winning Ferrari F-158 Formula One car starting, revving, idling and leaving. (i've had a cough since I crouched behind this beast, hmm)

A 1955 Mille Miglia record setting Mercedes-Benz W196 S 300 SLR at idle. (with bonus hypnotized photographers)

A quick surface street blast in a beautiful pale-green 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. (holy s**t)

Simple and short, but hopefully loud enough to get you yelled at by your wife, kids, coworker, roommate, or teacher. Full film soon.
