GM's accessories division has been working more closely the corporate design and engineering teams to come up with quicker times-to-market as well as aftermarket parts that fit better and look more integral to a given vehicle's appearance. While the H2 and the SSR were notable examples of this in the recent past, the practice is beginning to spread throughout GM's line, with the Accessory Design Studio working more closely with vehicle designers in an attempt to have numerous accessories available at a given vehicle's launch.
