CountersteerYour true stories of good and bad things that happen in cars.

The global automotive market is ripe with strange spellings, foreign words, and non-words for us to verbally trip over. But there are other words that are fun to purprosely get wrong.

I am a huge fan of calling biturbo engines (that’s BYE-turbo as Mercedes would like you to pronounce on cars such as their SL63 AMG) like it was spelled bitterbeau. There are other ones I have poking around in my head, so I feel like I can’t be the only one to intentionally call something wrong.

What do you choose to mispronounce?
