Yesterday was John DeLorean's birthday. The man was a motoring icon for many reasons, though there's really only two things about him that anyone thinks of: cocaine and a certain time machine. I don't want to bring up the DMC-12 at all. Crap. I mean, not again. Let's focus on six other things DeLorean did.
I made a little chart here of six important things — some small details that we take for granted, some more substantial — that DeLorean was largely responsible for bringing to reality. All I ask is that you look this over, and for once just try and think about DeLorean without letting your mind wander to cocaine trafficking or that stainless steel time machine.
Dammit, I mentioned it again.
