Environmental Protection Agency says its draft standard for plug-in hybrids and battery cars isn't complete, and it is searching for meaningful ways to present the information to car buyers on the window sticker.
Do the stickers HAVE to be similar to gassers and diesels? Why can't they simply put something like "Watts per hour - CITY" or another objective measure? I know MPG is a common stat that most people understand, but only out of familiarity. As energy becomes more fungible in cars, we're probably going to have to switch to a common measure and/or list it along with MPG (for traditional cars).
