Driving Is Hard

Maybe he did that thing where he was haulin’ too much ass in too much wet.

Maybe he didn’t even do nothin’ and the car just tripped and slipped. It happens. To the best of us and to the worst of us, it happens.

Best time for the scream of, “SCHEISSE,” really. Good save, guy.

Correct — too much ass and too much wet. Backing off the throttle caused the already-close-to-hydroplaning rear tires to lose traction, and with no brake signal / steering angle input / or throttle, the ABS/ASR was too late to recognize a loss of control event. Heck, even the best electronics cannot overcome the laws of physics.  911's (and other cars, but 911's more than most) continue to be saved by the proverbial electronics bell; this time the conditions didn’t allow for a smooth save, and the driver was damn lucky to avoid the wall.
