Tyson Hugie is on a mission to put 500,000 miles upon his 1994 Acura Legend, and he's just under 3,000 miles shy of his goal. Hugie bought his Legend with 94,000 miles and decided to keep it as long as maintenance didn't eat him alive; since then the old Honda has only required 5.7 cents' worth of mechanical tending for every mile driven, a remarkable feat of care for man and machine.
