With not a single Formula 1 client for next season, legendary engine builder Cosworth will be powering its last race at the Brazilian Grand Prix next weekend. But is it going quietly? Frig no, eskimo. With Mark Webber able to use a fresh engine in the season's final round, the Cos is supplying the Williams team with its Series 6 engine, running at 20,000 rpm for the entire afternoon. They're going all out (within FIA regulations, of course) to go out with a win, though Ferrari and Renault will be doing their bests to eclipse the rev-happy V8. Either way, Cosworth will have Champ Car to busy itself next season, though a Formula One without Cosworth seems like a sno cone without colored sugar-water. [Thanks to David for the tip.]
