Comment Of The Day: Video Game Synergy Edition

Today we heard about an online scam artist who has good taste in automobiles as he managed to con a Maserati dealer out of a gorgeous 2014 GranTursimo coupe. He may have taken some inspiration from two of our favorite driving games.

Unlike the joker from NJ who tried to scam Jason out of his mom’s Passat, with some oddly worded text messages, this guy managed to get a loan approval from Bank of America for a used Maserati worth around $82,000. Maserati of Troy, Michigan did not seem to think anything was amiss when the buyer requested the car to be delivered to his local WalMart.

Reader smalleyxb122, has a theory on how this guy came up with the idea.
