Germany-based tuning house Hamann, which already offers a package of tart-ups for the Ferrari F430, announced it will at long last introduce a proper engine tuning kit for the pride of Modena (and Jalopnik's Car of the Year, 2005). The company's Sport Kit 620, which will be available in March 2006 — likely to be launched at the Geneva show — will include twin superchargers, each with its own intercooler, and modded engine-control software. All of that kit will reportedly boost horsepower to 620 and torque to 465 lbs.-ft, putting it leagues with the 580hp V12 Lamborghini Murcielago — likely in price as well.
