I was at Denver International Airport yesterday evening as a supercell storm grazed the Southeastern side of the airport. The photo shows several phenomena including a rainbow, virga, mammatus, and the anvil cloud.

Flights weren't impacted much, as it didn't pass directly over the airfield. The storm carried a tornado warning with it, causing wind and hail damage east of Denver.

Denver has great skys in May/June: the clouds are formed from all the snow melt in the rockies and then go east and dump all over the plains. There is a certain look that I have only seen in Denver, but I see it reliably every summer: the storm is over, grey green darkness in the east, golden sunlight from the west, glowing all the saturated leaves bright green.
