German's pricey li'l luxe brand โ€” fresh off some Consumers Reports win for something- or-the-other, completely called it in from the awards show or something and ended up shitting the bed this past month, and saw US sales fall in August to 2,397 units โ€” that's a 13% drop from the same month in 2005. But it's trying to put on a good face, and so they've topped the press release with the number that makes them feel like a winner this month โ€” sales are up 12% in the first eight months of the year. Das ist good, Nein?
