Somewhere, there's probably a crowd of pissed-off chickens, but at least one happy-go-lucky sod auctioneer will soon be popping champagne corks in celebration. That's because a rare 1939 Lagonda V12 Drophead Coupe was recently uncovered in a UK barn with just 50,112 miles on the odometer. The stately open car, whose W.O. Bentley overhead-cam V12 is relatively intact, has been in the same family for 40 years, and experts say it'll go for around $100,000 at auction. We're predicting it'll go even higher. [Thanks to Steve for the tip.]
