Anything Goes In The Cushy, Cloth-Covered Camaro IROC-Z

The ‘80s Camaro IROC-Z was meant to be a road version of the International Race of Champions Camaro race car. Amazingly, John Davis and MotorWeek went to see how the two compared.

Of course, the race version was a tube-framed stock car while the road car was much like any other rattley, plastic fantastic Camaro of ‘80s. Do we care? Hell no, these cars are rad!

I still like the 3rd gen Camaros, the t-tops not so much. However, I think this might be the closest between racecar and streetcar; mmm, LS-powered nascar-transmissioned street-legal goodness.
