Less than 24 hours after four Fiat-Chrysler brands ranked last in the most recent Consumer Reports Auto Reliability Survey, Doug Betts, the automaker's Head of Quality is out the door to "pursue other interests."

The CR survey was just the latest blow to FCA, with J.D. Power putting Jeep and Fiat at the bottom of the barrel in its June Initial Quality Survey, with Dodge coming in slightly better – at 21st.

Betts, who's been with Chrysler since 2007 after stints at Nissan, Toyota, and GM, was immediately replaced by Mark Chernoby, who is rolling quality assurance into his duties as the COO of Product Development.
