When was the last time anything with 25hp ran low 13s in the quarter at 100mph? We can't honestly answer that question, but the fact that Roger Hedlund's battery box ran the measured mile on the Bonneville Salt Flats at 175.061 using only a forklift motor and some goddamn slippery aero back in 1972 causes hosannas of respect to well up within us and spew forth from every pore and orifice. Sorry if that was a little graphic, but well, it's just that badass.
