FC Anji has had a pretty good season. The Russian soccer team, located in the city of Makhachkala, was promoted from the Russian National Football League to the Russian Premier League, and they’re celebrating with this giant Lamborghini statue:

The club is owned by Suleyman Kerimov, Russian billionaire and car-lover (who has a bad habit of crashing).

According to the club’s website:

Anji direction made out-of-the-way present to our club in honour of the team`s promotion back to the Premier League – Lamborghini car mastercopy, that`s placed at the entrance to the stadium, at Stand D.

The size of the car is really record-breaking: length – 25 meters, height – 7 meters, width – 11 meters! Maquette of such Lamborghini pretends to be included into the Guinness Book of World Records!

The construction will get its finishing touches in the nearest time.

FC Anji sincerely thanks the partners – Anji Arena stadium – for this exclusive present, that`ll always symbolize big and splendid success of our team.

Unclear what this has to do with soccer, but hey. Whatever makes them happy.
