The original Mazda Miata started a "roadster revival." The 2006 car, renamed as the MX5, transforms that all into a sports car movement that will continue to thrive for years to come.

What's there not to like about the MX5? Other than a plasticky strip in the cabin and a wee little trunk, not much. The 2006 car can't even fit a spare, so MotorWeek suggests some run flats.

Run flats? In a sports car? No thanks!
