How could two motorcycle racers with similar outlooks on custom machinery wind up with such different bikes that are still very similar? That is, despite their divergent styles, they're both total hoon hacks in the very best way.

This week on RideApart, Jamie Robinson meets up with motorcycle racer Eric Bostrom in Malibu for a ride through the canyons on their personal bikes. For Jamie it's a naked Honda CBR600RR and for Eric, a custom Kawasaki Z1000 modeled after race bikes of the 1960s and 1970s.
