You've read about our bug-infested behind-the-scenes sneak peek, now it's time to experience the whole thing. Richard Hammond's Crash Course, the Hamster's solo tour of America and its biggest, baddest rides, is set to debut next month on BBC America.

To recap: The show's premise is simple, although the insurance forms are probably not. The smallish Top Gear host has a seat in some very large vehicles — an Abrams tank, an airport fire truck, a crane with a wrecking ball — and attempts to operate them with some degree of fluency. While (trailer seen above notwithstanding) he will be legitimately trying to limit collateral damage, we predict that a drinking game centered on the number of minivans destroyed per episode is a sure thing.

Crash Course airs on Monday, April 16th, at 10 PM Eastern and Pacific.
