Last year we showed you the unfinished prototype of the Urbee, the world's first printed car, was displayed at SEMA. A fully functional prototype was finally unveiled last week at the TEDx conference in Canada.

The prototype is powered by the combination of a single-cylinder ethanol-powered engine and electric motors. This source of power is what makes claims of 200mpg on the highway and 100mpg around town possible. Having said that, we aren't sure what highway you are going to want to go near with the car's 8 peak horsepower.

The team behind the Urbee is currently trying to raise 1 million dollars to produce a second prototype. If all goes according to plan you will be able to purchase the first printed car as early as 2014 for approximately $30,000.
