Recalls happen to every automaker, pretty much all of the time. But thanks to the media firestorm around the "sudden acceleration" scandal, Toyota is going to find itself held to a much stricter standard than its competitors. Any Toyota recall over the next year is going to have people up in arms. It's not fair, but that's life.
