You Will Cry Watching the Philippines Crush This Lamborghini With a Bulldozer

If you’re out of tissues, ice cream and/or romantic comedies to cheer you up, it’s best that you don’t watch this video of the Philippines government destroying ~$5.6 million worth of exotic supercars as an idiotic way to prevent smuggling.

We’ve covered the Philippine’s ruthless crackdown on imported (or “smuggled” as the country calls them) used cars before, but that doesn’t make this destruction on Monday of 68 luxury cars and eight motorcycles any easier to watch:

Among the victims of this mass killing of wonderful automobiles in Port Irene in Cagayan province are multiple Porsche 911s, a Lamborghini Gallardo and an R34 Nissan Skyline—all vehicles that never did anything wrong, and didn’t deserve such horrible fate.

If it wasn’t already apparent from his other brutal methods, this President Rodrigo Roa Duterte guy is clearly monster.
