We haven't used a mousepad since roughly 1996, but in the ensuing decade the pinnicale of mousing-surface technology has been reached. It's 500 bucks. It's made of carbon fiber by guys who construct racing cars when they're not building desk accessories. And it's got the all-important F1 logo. We'll stick with our 20-dollar Microsoft optical mouse on our decades-old Formica desktop, thank you very much.
