The Suzuki-Nissan partnership is taking one more step forward with Nissan supplying Suzuki a pickup truck for the North American market starting in 2008 in exchange for the mini-car Suzuki's bringing to the table for Nissan to sell under their brand name in Europe. Also, Nissan's going to supply a minivan to Suzuki for the Japanese market and Suzuki is going to supply Nissan a kei car for the same market. All of which gets us wondering, why don't these two just get a room — is Suzuki concerned that it's just too soon after they were spurned by GM? Doesn't it know that it's so much better off without them? We really hope Nissan doesn't end up being Suzuki's rebound.
