It's sometimes hard keeping track of the game of musical chairs played by and with automotive industry marketing folks. It always seems like someone's thinking the grass is greener at another automaker, or another automaker's got the smartest of the smart in marketing. Basically, it's like an episode of Wife Swap. Today ain't much different, with Scott Keogh making the move from Merc to Audi for their newest C-level job, "Chief Marketing Officer." So what made Keogh so hot? We know from January 2004 until August 2005, Keogh was gm of Mercedes' Smart USA division — and we all know how work intensive that must have been.
