The final car in the criminally underrated Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift was the main character’s classic Mustang built with a modern Japanese turbo straight six. And that’s exactly what we have here, in the real world.

While the Tokyo Drift fastback had an RB26DETT out of a Skyline, this Gulf-colored notchback has a 2JZGTE out of a wrecked Toyota Aristo (that we got as the Lexus GS). Dig the engine cover.

The person who did this to that poor mustang deserves the most agonizing and drawn out death ever conceived in the history of humanity. This is worse than every old Ford with a SBC combined.
